From 22nd June, 2010, all new members that sign up are required to post an Introduction BEFORE they post anything else in this forum. Your introduction must also meet the introduction guidelines, such as, you must tell us how you got here, what you are here for, and what interests you have etc. Your introduction can't be just a one liner such as your name and asking people "What's up?". If new members post else where before introducing themselves, you will be banned. You can however use the chatroom before posting anything. But if you are going to post, you must post an introduction first. If you're registered before this date, this does not apply to you.
Why are we doing this?
A lot of the new members that are signing up either appear to be "sock puppets" or advanced spambots that are getting through all the anti spambot defences in the registration process. Thus, it's making the forum very untidy and random posting to topics from members that never show up again, and they usually have a link in their signature which again points to "sock puppets" for the purposes of advertising, or just plain spam.
THANK YOU.
tl;dr: if you're new post introduction before posting ANYTHING or be banned.
